Offered in partnership with Cramlington based Pipeline Innovations, the Pathfinder Foam Caliper has been developed for the first stage assessment of operational pipelines prior to the use of metal-bodied pigs.
With over 90 runs since 2012 and a 98% first run success rate, the Pathfinder has a proven track record and has been used in a wide range of product environments and applications.
Information from the tool is used to identify the location and the size of a localised bore restrictions in the line, allowing informed decisions to be made on the appropriate types and configurations of pigs to be deployed to clean or inspect a pipeline
