Online Electronics recently chose to hire internally to fill two available positions in our Projects department.
We are delighted to see George McPherson (right) move into the role of Project Engineer. George joined the company in 2018 as an Electronic Technician having previously worked as a Field Engineer for an Inspection company. During his time at Online, George has been studying part time for a BEng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, a qualification he has now completed.
Another recent change in the department is the promotion of Mike Berry (left) to Project Manager. Mike has worked for Online for a total of seven years starting at the age of 17 when the company supported him through further education at NESCOL Aberdeen college where he achieved an HNC followed by an HND in mechanical engineering. After a three-year sabbatical working and living in the French alps, Mike returned to Online in 2018 as a Production Supervisor before moving into a Projects role.
