Online’s MEG ARTS® system has successfully completed its first deployment in Australia during the dewatering of a 65km pipeline in the eastern part of the Gippsland Basin, approximately 40km offshore Victoria. The system enabled the customer to determine the density of fluids being discharged from the pipeline.
Online’s scope of work was to measure the pipeline fluid density, temperature and pressure subsea during the dewatering of the gas pipeline. The live data was available on the controller readable by ROV and was logged for later analysis allowing the client to cost-effectively and accurately confirm successful conditioning of the line.
This project is an exciting step forward in Online’s aim to extend our global reach for the MEG ARTS® system and enhance our presence in Australia.
